CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:

Presented by Thomas Schwarz via Powerpoint.  Many thanks to Thomas for his work.  He is stepping down from committee but will still help on Great Lake Trail committee and other Bike Taupō work.  Moved to be accepted by Thomas.  2^nd by Karyn Hutton

TREASURER’S REPORT:

No report presented as the accounts have not been completed by the accountants.  They will be posted on the website when done. 

ELECTIONS:

On Committee for two years and each year half the committee stands down and half continues.

Retiring 2012 – Julie Norris, Shorty Hughes, Thomas Schwarz, Karyn Hutton

Nominations for 2012 – Julie Norris, Shorty Hughes (agreed until the toilets are built at Craters), Karyn Hutton,

Nominated by Thomas Schwarz/Mark Gibson

Ian Jensen Nominated by Shorty and Mike Keys Nominated by Julie both 2^nd by Thomas

All five nominations approved and accepted by the meeting

Election of Chairman – Rowan Sapsford Nominated by Mark Gibson/2^nd by Keith Crat.  All in favour

GENERAL BUSINESS: 

GREAT LAKE TRAIL UPDATE

Brief presentation by Pete Masters to say that everything was on track, except for some land access issues, but nothing that couldn’t be worked around.  Thanks to all the Project team and expected to be starting early 2012.

CHARITIES COMMISSION UPDATE

With new committee people, Charities Commission register needs to be updated.  Cath to action.
