Join us to hear from the Green Party’s transport spokesperson and former transport planner Julie Anne Genter about high quality transport solutions for Taupo and to watch “Beauty and the Bike”, a film which explores the impact cycling infrastructure has on attitudes towards cycling.

The film "Beauty and the Bike" follows two groups of young women, one from Darlington in England where nearly all teenagers have stopped cycling. Another is from Bremen where most teenagers use a bike. Julie Anne Genter’s informative talk follows up on the film’s themes and presents a logical and achievable plan for improving transport choice in New Zealand.
