These are some photos from the Kotukutuku waterfall track- which marks the end of day one on the Great Lake trail. It is more like a film set than a cycle trail – with board walks, bridges and 15 switch backs – all in a beautiful bush clad valley – with a waterfall crashing down the centre.

You all need to call in and have a look, or better still a ride. The photos don’t do it justice!
