Wairakei
The new start to the Outback is now finished with the new crossings on the Lane way and a road crossing near the pipe gate to get back onto the established part of Outback.
The logging of Switch Back area is now finished and Brendon and Carwyn have set out a new downhill and uphill to go from the top of Grinder down to the bottom of the old Switch Back then back up to the Mr & Mrs entry at top of Buzzard.
There will also be an exit at the bottom of 60k hill.
We had a working bee on this track on Sun 21st and thanks to all who turned up. Good progress was made.
Pete Manning is working on a change on Walters Wiggles to take out the twists and turns down on the flat. Thanks also to the people that turned out to help him.
James is still beavering away on the Coles Killer extention.
Have been doing a few minor maintenance jobs on the Mr & Mrs, filling in a few braking bumps and smoothing out some of the berms.
Everyone will be noticing the progress on the Golf Course predator fence.
Other Tracks
Not much else is happening on the other tracks.Got 8 rats in the traps on W2K the other day. Thanks to Contact [Tim] and TDC [Darren] for the posts, timber and other materials they have let us have just recently.
