Spraying in Craters - Now all completed

There will be aerial spraying being carried out over the next three weeks. Areas being covered will be Tourist Trap, Mrs and Outback. See the map attached.

 

Please stay out of blocks when helicopter is operating. Tracks will be closed and then opened straight after operation which will take place first thing in the morning any time over next three weeks.

Slip on W2K

There is a slip on the Whakaipo end of W2K about 2 km from the start. May take a day or two to be sorted depending on weather.

Track Status - Big tree down on Whakaipo side of W2K.

Track Status - Big tree down on Whakaipo side of W2K.

The recent rain has created some work for the track crew as the photo
shows. This tree is down between the bluff zigzag and bluffs on W2K
5.6km up from Whakaipo Bay. It will not be fully cleared until next week
once we have track crew members back on deck (we only have 1 Pete at
present) and so be careful if riding on the track.
