Work has started on a track for the people who want to ride Deb’s and Mr and Mrs, but prefer to avoid Grinder. This previously unavailable option has been given the code name “Easy Grinder” by the track crew.

Bike Taupo, Taupo Mountain Bike Club and the Hawkes Bay Mountain Bike Club have organised a joint effort at Te Iringa track which is off Clements Mill Rd on the Napier Taupo road. Trail funds will be used to to clear the track of wind falls, get the water under control and make more of the big slip rideable.

Brendon from Huka Cycles and Cath recently ran a kids bike safety program at Craters. There was lots of positive feedback from kids and parents. A $100 donation to Kids BT from Huka Cycles was the result.
There was also a $100 donation to Kids BT from Fran at Accent on Taupo Motel.
