November Track Crew Report

November Track Crew Report

Huka Update

We have made a couple of late changes to the course which for those that know the tracks.

1st:

We are taking out the little bush track in Spa Park  You will now ride straight out on the Rotary Ride like a normal Ride.

2rd:

We are putting in the Skunk Worx track which is the new track running off the last section on Outback and takes you back up to Retro So yes this will add a little bit of distance.

The Rest of the News:

The new Bridge in Craters is in and working a treat thanks to the Beagle Boys, should have no more head on's in the tunnel now.   Walters has had a clean-up and is flowing nicely.  We are also giving the top part of Outback and BBC a birthday getting rid of the roots and fern sorting out the water cut outs etc.  We have also been flat out spraying so you should start seeing the grass and blackberry dying around the place.

We have also planted 3000 trees in the last two weeks on the Rotary Ride and out on the GLT. This is part of getting rid of the fern area's to cut down on the long term maintenance. We have also just finished going around W2K and giving it a tidy up and getting the water of the track. so it should be all good for the summer.
Keep the tree reports coming folks please they are great saving us heaps of time and most of all keeping the tracks open.
